We have successfully bought a car, not a beauty but it does not have to hide. A mitsubishi pajero year 92 with 212.000km down. An off-roader with the times you can also go safely into Nirvana. Finally out of Auckland, New Zealand too many German enough! We are heading north on the way to a sleepy farm near Matakana a small village off the main travel routes. Here is a farm after another between the green hills where cows and sheep drive to mischief, for small jungle surrounded moderate slopes in the Pacific, the picture-book beaches that border normal one knows only from postcards. Matakana has to offer every Saturday morning, a beautiful small farmers market, where the local farmers their stuff (stuff), all from our own production. Even German bread, where the Kiwis are very keen on it, which we do not get because everything was already gone. In these few hours you feel had the semi Auckland shop here goes.
We now live the next 2 weeks on a farm, the shot must be placed back on because it is sold. The whole is called here woofing and means, to work 4 hours a day and is rewarded with a place to sleep and something to eat. As the need to seem huge since, is
you spend good money without a lot of rum. Another advantage is integrated in the life of one of the Kiwis and one speaks english which finally increased our loss not to be. Here on the farm live German 2 more weeks here on the already 5 schufften are and have a good understanding, comes to the family with 2 children and a pesky talking parrot the most like you want to wring his neck, a cuddly dog a cuddle cat and a fat cat like some horses, chickens, pigeons and 2 critters look like llamas but there are none. We mow lawns here, ride the quad, windows and doors repainted go again dig quad, small ditches, then drive back quad plant to plant, sent forth the ways and did I mention the
we here driving around with the quad? :) Anyway, there is always something to do and it is never boring and in a breathtaking backdrop. more are planned a trip to the jungle, where it passes through a Creek (river), up to the waterfalls, through densely covered by people untouched nature. The weather was very changeable here, rain, sunshine, drizzle and sometimes all at once. Furthermore, it is still wild boar and goat hunting! These animals are considered here as a nuisance and have no natural enemies, they are hunted freely. 
I need to fix kill the parrot, who suffers from attention that is a syndrome, and he is very uncomfortable ....
