A decade of women's policy for Baden-Württemberg aims of the Women's Land Baden-Württemberg (SAR) at its delegates' meeting on 08.05.2010 in Stuttgart . • Strengthen the gender dimension, including a better use of gender mainstreaming and specific measures and targets for equality between women and men in the context of an employment strategy for the state of Baden-Württemberg;
• ensuring the integration of gender perspective in efforts to combat the recession, supported by consistent gender budgeting;
• reduce the pay gap between men and women, including through the living wage for full-time employment, legal Minimum wage and an appreciation of social services;
• Promote a balanced and long-term development-oriented decision-making environment of diversity on the boards of listed companies by means of a quota for supervisory boards.
• Improved access of women in decision-making policies and land management through a quota for the state government bodies.
As a precondition for the expansion of early childhood care and education and care services for vulnerable older people, more flexible working hours and the facilitation of full-time employment of women and men are called.
