Backround info:
Cate Tiernan, the fact Gabrielle Charbonnet is, one could almost be described as old hands in the author's business. In 2001, her first Young Adult Literature Series "Sweep" was published, which includes to date as much as 15 volumes. The first two volumes of "Books of Shadows and The Coven" are with us on 18 April 2011 under the name "The Book of Shadows # 1: Metamorphosis" and "The Book of Shadows # 2: Magical glow" from cbt "symptoms.
In America, she also appeared in 2005 with their "Balefire" series known which is about a teenage witch and her unknown twin.
The "Immortal Beloved" trilogy is her third youth book series, the opening band to get the German subtitles "Ignites" added. The second volume of the series is already this year in English under the title "Darkness Falls" will be available, followed by the last volume of "Immortal Light" which published in 2012 is.
My opinion:
I regret to say that I had with the book a few teething problems. I could not understand the story at first and I did not really know what was tantamount to the whole. In retrospect, I
must say, however, that this could be easily have been an atmospheric knack for expressing Nastasya restlessness and the monotony of their eternal life. For them there was a long time that is nothing more than parties with their immortal friends.
first one still has the feeling that the total is their thing, but later you realize in what kind of a crisis, they really are is.
This may be because that is not easily understood Nastasya immortality. One thing is for sure from the beginning: it is not a vampire!
Immortality in this book has more to do with magic, which is integrated into each immortals. You just need to learn to control this.
Nastasja added so that as their difficulties because they only know the dark magic of Incy. In the course of the book she learns, however, a lot about how good magic act, and also manages to find out now what they have expected of themselves and especially their eternal life.
To learn more about Nastasya past life and why they are the person has become, it is nunmal, the author has incorporated a few flashbacks in the story.
I have really enjoyed this, because this very authentic to me and had me Nastasja have brought much closer.
What I to the end, however, somewhat mysterious place is their attraction to Reyn. They are united by a certain event together, but said that for me just not the tension between the two.
However, I think the thing here is much deeper than one might think. This is due mainly River, the woman who behebergt all the immortals, and teach them magic. She always seems to be one step ahead of all and everything about to know everyone.
And somehow I will not shake the feeling that they also about the relationship between Reyn Nastasja and white, as one might think at first glance.
Conclusion:
Even if you do not think the first few pages may have to offer this book a lot.
It is subtly we addressed the question of the meaning of eternal life and boasts a protagonist who is still, despite its nearly 450 years looking after himself.
I'm curious as to her relationship with Reyn continues and most of all I want to know more about River. Overall I would say that Cate Tiernan a nice prelude to their new Trilogy has created and we definitely look forward to the second part may.
Many thanks for the review copy goes to
My recommendation:

Again, it's about a group of teenagers who all live together in a house there and try each other with their Para Standards or those around them cope.
Although our immortals in Rachel Caine Vampire book, but purely from the reading feeling very similar to the stories themselves. If you like
like that is the "House of the Vampire" series, "Immortal Beloved" as much.
