I must say that I honestly was shocked when I read this message on Vampirediariesweb.com .
I find her Vampire Diaries books really well, even if I have read so far only the first four.
On her blog, the author has, however, asked the publisher why not to boycott.

I must say that I find it all really a bit strange and it's really a shame about the really great book series.
