Update:
currently circulating rumors that Gaspard Ulliel assume the role of Alec Lightwood is. However, Cassandra Clare has announced on her Twitter account that no other character is cast, not until the role of Jace has occupied.
Seems so to probably still not be sure that Alex Pettyfer plays the role.

It should be an enjoyable evening when Clary and her best friend Simon go to the disco Pandemonium.
But it is quite different from Clary witnesses a murder is strange. And to make matters worse, it is the only one who can see him.

Clary is clear that they must do something to free her mother and discovers things about her that change both their lives and their emotions quite upside down.
